New Westown New Easton Mall opens July 10:07:49 AM / 951 E 18th Street "It just feels very fitting to close
before the New Year as we welcome 2018 in Westport, which opened with some terrific business activities for me this spring," writes New West on the event's Facebook page. "We will begin accepting retail submissions during the opening week!" New Easton offers six to nine stores within a 200 – 225-foot plaza in the space between Broadway East and Broadway Street East. The location would also provide ample time for customers of Downtown Easton Square and Westcott Center, if residents were willing to take extra efforts to reduce congestion during the festive shopping season in spring. The mall is adjacent to West Bank Street while not adjacent to a shopping area of Central Square as Downtown will close around March 1.
