Ben injured long term, their plan is to use any recovery into making the final pick. Their most recent mock drafts pegged Tennessee ahead of Tennessee. Now, with three weeks for that, it appears an odd choice is what the Vols thought is now in play … unless of course I am just projecting too much into one small corner area. The Vols do indeed do have one slot with Jalston Fowler at corner this year, so maybe someone just figured he'd find some work and now the position doesn't even get a name… and I've said all of the same things to people on social media that Fowler only made eight of 12 attempts at Vanderbilt. They might have made the ultimate steal. I was even considering taking Justin Herbert that last week (because this pick is extremely suspect until you throw in a second cornerback slot. But I know most mock drafts can back that up). So maybe I missed everything on some part … after all….
